2009 SEWER RATES TO INCREASE IN 2009 Due to increased chemical costs along with overdue repairs to sections of the sanitary sewage system, there will be a minor increase in sewer rates for 2009. The quarterly increase will amount to approximately 7% for residential properties. While costs of operating the system have gone up, anticipated revenue is not projected to change from the current level thereby creating the necessity of a rate increase. The Oakbourne Mansion Commission is charged with resurrecting this treasure so that once again it will be a fabulous place to hold parties and events. Staples will accept all brands of computers, monitors, laptops, printers, and faxes for a fee of $10 per large item. TV's are not accepted.
